Powershot SD940IS – The Canon Powershot SD940IS camera is intended for those into “hot design and cool technology”. Like all digital elphs this camera comes in great color choices; the SD940 features muted metallics. Like the 780IS, this camera also has 12.1 megapixel resolution and features a smart auto mode. The 940 has a larger 2.7″ LCD display and a larger focal range than the 780, and is priced around $225.
Powershot SD960IS – The Canon Powershot SD960IS camera has a streamlined design and comes in four vibrant colors; also has a user friendly button configuration. The 960 has many of the same features as the 940IS, but with a different look and feel. The SD960IS has a slightly larger, 2.8″ LCD display, and is priced around $230.
Powershot SD980IS – The Canon Powershot SD980IS camera features a large 3″ LCD display and has a touch screen interface. It comes in four vibrant colors and boasts a sleek and slim design. Like most of the Elph cameras the SD980IS has a 720p HD movie shooting capability. With 12.1 megapixel resolution and 5x optical zoom, you can focus in on your subject and achieve great results. The SD980IS is priced around $270.
Powershot SD3500IS – The Canon Powershot SD3500IS camera has a large and brilliant 3.5″ LCD display to help you frame your shot, and comes with a touch screen interface. One of the newest Elph cameras, it has 14.1 megapixel resolution, 5x optical zoom, and an ultra wide angle lens allowing you to zoom in on your subject and create very high resolution images. The SD3500IS comes in three colors and is priced around $330.
Powershot SD970IS – The Canon Powershot SD970IS camera is similar in capability and price to the SD980IS. With a slightly larger focal range, the difference is mostly in the look and feel. The 970IS comes in silver with a cool curvy design. The SD970IS is priced around $290.
